Overview

As a Sales Specialist, you will be a key driver of revenue growth by proactively developing and closing new business opportunities while also supporting and expanding existing customer relationships. This role requires a consultative sales approach, excellent communication, and ownership of the full sales cycle—from outbound prospecting and lead qualification to proposal development, deal closure, and account follow-up.

You will engage confidently with technical buyers, engineers, and procurement professionals across industries, leveraging your understanding of B2B sales cycles and solution selling. Whether office-based or hybrid, you’ll thrive in a high-activity, target-driven environment focused on meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly goals.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of inside sales, business development, or outbound/telesales experience in a commercial environment.
  • Proven track record managing the full sales cycle: outreach, qualification, proposal, and close.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive, consultative approach.
  • Confidence in high-volume cold calling and prospecting.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple opportunities concurrently.
  • Ability to build rapport and engage technical buyers across industries.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with LinkedIn for prospecting.

Responsibilities

  • Drive high-velocity selling to high-potential customers through focused campaigns and offers.
  • Execute targeted outreach to generate, qualify, and close opportunities quickly.
  • Capture target new logos and expand high potential customers by leveraging strong CRM, focused campaign execution, and fast response.
  • Create rapid funnel growth and win deals efficiently in key segments.
  • Conduct structured daily outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to generate and qualify leads, aligned with sales campaigns and priorities.
  • Drive key portions of the sales cycle: identify prospects, qualify opportunities, present proposals, negotiate, and close deals with minimal handover.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound inquiries, converting them into qualified sales opportunities.
  • Manage a personal sales pipeline, maintain accurate CRM records (e.g., Salesforce), and ensure reliable forecasting.
  • Engage existing customers to drive retention, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and maximize account value.
  • Provide customers with comprehensive technical and commercial support throughout the sales process—from quotation to delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with inside and outside sales teams, technical experts, and other departments to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment.
  • Maintain customer profiles and ensure data accuracy in ER systems and CRM tools.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by proactively identifying and resolving issues, building rapport, and providing timely updates.
  • Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and results to management.
  • Support marketing and product teams by providing feedback on market trends, competitive information, and customer needs.
  • Participate in sales meetings, events, trade shows, or customer visits as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall business objectives.
